You are now about to enter the room holding the name of one of the oldest cities in Albania. A place of commerce and wars. A city compound that always saw the future in its eye, the main destination from which to reach the sea faster. This city is older than Rome or London, and yet it was the base for some of the fiercest Albanian cultural products in Albania, from filmmakers to poets; from freethinkers to incomparable talents in the visual arts. Durrës was and is a great meeting point to spot Mediterranean culture at its peak. You can see the Venetian Tower, and the ancient amphitheater while also glimpsing the modern developments with exemplary spaces to have a great time, by the sea, with your friends and loved ones.
Feel the embrace of the Adriatic, welcome in!

This room belongs to greatness, from the stone roads to the fortified castle, Gjirokastra holds all the legends in one fist. From the old ladies sipping their Turkish coffees in the streets, to the hallways of the tall houses, you can sense that even the dominant gray color embellishing this city holds many nuances of love, care, and an immense love for routines.
You are about to enter this city that spells its marvels in stories. If you haven’t heard, Ismail Kadare, one of the most prominent Albanian writers, who has defined an era of modernism in Albanian literature, has written extensively about this city. From “Chronicle in Stone” to “ The Fall of the Stone City” one can find the inimitable spirit of this place whose stories extend time and time again.
This room is designed to reflect the magic and silent grandeur of Gjirokastra offering a timeless feel, and a journey to remember.
Standard Double Room: Berati
The room you are about to enter holds the stories of how Albania reflects its relationship to divinities and earthlings. The city of a thousand windows, holds one of the main tourist attractions in Albania and it is indeed a Unesco protected city. Even at the hardest times we find artisans and artists who develop their practices, from sewing, to painting, to maintaining their gardens to perfection.
Throughout Berat one sees many rivers passing by, making it a perfect place to rest quietly and then go back to Gorica and Mangalem to embrace tradition at its best. One might want to know more about the artistic spirit of the city, and we send you back to the XVI century, where one of most known and talented painters lived mononymously known as Onufri: a painter who invented his own shade of red.
But Berat also holds a youthful vibe through new up and coming artists, filmmakers and painters who want to create a new vision through tradition and culture. Welcome!
Standard Double Room: Prishtina
Prishtina is the city of love and raves. Whether you are fascinated by the ex-yugoslavian architecture you must know the brutalist movement resided in creating ethereal spaces for people to delve into arts. From dust there was power and all that power was channeled into the young and rebel spirit of Prishtina. You might know this city by the Grand Hotel Prishtina, an upper echelon five star hotel where many important people would stay, or for the evergreen field of fashion or for the groundbreaking musicians and DJ-s that have helped our spirits lighten up during difficult times, Prishtina will be our forever indispensable love.
Prishtina has always been one step forward when it comes to music and arts. We know the band Gjurmët, or the iconic rocker Violeta Rexhepagiqi, as a means to navigate through a time of hardships and constant request for artistic liberation.
Through the plato of the Palace of Youth, we do not just walk into one of the most massive buildings built by the citizens in Kosovo, but we also see the Rilindja Press building where the heart of modernism in Albanian literature had its home. We can see the Observatory of Prishtina as a place to rest and see the stars while from there we know the rebel heart this city has lies in the streets, in the late nights and the incomparable energy one feels once directed to the Rakija street.
Welcome to a room named after a city that will never die!
Standard Double Room: Kruja
If one says Kruja we see right through the heart of the history of Albania, for it being the beacon of our quest for independence and autonomy. Most likely connected with Skanderbeg, our national hero, we see Kruja as a city that fanatically tries to embrace culture and nurture it to the younger generations. Connecting it to the most recent time, this city has brought up some of the fiercest Albanian poets of the likes of Luljeta Lleshanaku and Mimoza Ahmeti, both of them defining important eras of Albanian poetry.
As you might witness this room speaks in the languages of Kruja’s colors, and we made it feel like you are experiencing the marketplace at the heart of this city showcasing the best their hands create from clothes to home decors and souvenirs, we are fully enamored with what Kruja offers, and not the mention the high points of view where you can see the city in all of its glory.
Standard Double Room: Shkupi
Shkup (Skopje) is a city we dearly love for its rich history and the way people always teach us how to enjoy life. Shkup has undergone some changes, once after the earthquake in 1963, which definitely changed the way the city was built, and the last time in 2014. The main square has put a focus on representing the history of North Macedonia through every cultural and historical figure and facades have changed in size and style. Even though the changes in architecture have brought many discussions, we always go to the Albanians who reside in Shkup, and their generosity to preserve and maintain the language and traditions.
Shkup is a city of songs and dances and it purely reflects the nerve and rocker side of the city and here is a nod to BllaBllaBlla band, but once one goes through the streets of the market one can feel the entrepreneurial spirit always residing in the Albanian identity kit.
